How to stop Global Warming?

The possible solutions to stop or slow down this process are provided in this list.
  • With the rise in inventions of scientific products to easeFactries Pollution the life of human beings, the complications are worsening with the time. For example with the rise of cars usage more and more petrol is burned daily. Resultantly, more CO2 is adding in the atmosphere. Less or efficient usage of cars may reduce our sufferings. United States is the largest consumer of oil, using 20.4 million barrels per day. Senator Joseph Lieberman said in 2000, "If we can get 3 miles more per gallon from our cars, we'll save 1 million barrels of oil a day, which is exactly what the (Arctic National Wildlife) Refuge at its best in Alaska would produce."

  • Packaging is another problem. The wastage which causesPlastic Pollution pollution is produced mainly from the packing material wastes. Tin, polythene and other chemicals are used in packing process. People use these products and throw the packing waste in the dustbin. America is the world’s largest waste producer. If efficient usage of chemicals is done half of the pollution will be decreased and less CO2 will be produced. Especially the plastic waste is needed to be reduced not only to slow down global warming but also to save the ecosystem from destruction.
  • Implantation of more forests is the urgent need of the hour and a global effort is needed to this end. If all theTrees Cutting governments launch a campaign to implant one tree per person than the growing carbon dioxide can be decreased to a required level. Also we should try to reduce cutting of trees. Global warming has done a lot of damage by intensifying forest fire if this will not be controlled the damage done to the forests will be irreparable.
  • Population increase is another major actor in global warming. It is estimated that the population of the world will rise from. 6.1 billion Today to 7.9 billion in 2025. More and more natural resources like fresh water, fossil fuels and other minerals are needed to satisfy the needs of this growing population. For this reason rapid industrialization is underway resulting in fast emission of CO2 which in turn is worsening the climatic situation. It is the need of the hour that less manufactured products should be used so that less green house gases are emitted and global warming can be controlled.
